PAINTINGS
Paintings depicting flora and fauna in a unique and thought-provoking way. My work explores underlying issues and celebrates the beauty of nature.

Peonies
Identity Theft
This painting is inspired by the nature of octopuses who can control their muscles under their skin which allows them to change the texture and pigments of their appearance. This feature helps them protect themselves by camouflaging. Having said that, they could also camouflage by taking the features of other creatures such as humans, similarly to us now with plastic surgery available, you can look like anyone even if it is to keep up with trends, to be like everybody else, to camouflage. Like a toy they will tear us apart and integrate our eyes, nose or even grow fingers to their own body. In the painting I wanted it to look like a picture that was taken when the octopus is in its act.
